aspirations of the citizens of neola may be it is their collective aim to ma make e neola known throughout the uintah basin as one of the most up to date progressive and industrious towns within its confines to accomplish this we realize that we must not only improve our own homes fa farms anis and community but must be ready at all times to lend support and assistance to all basin activities and projects during the past few years it is safe to say that neola has more building progress than any place anywhere near its size in I 1 the basin wo we have an up to date clate four room elementary school building with a newly completed gymnasium that is comparable in every respect to those found in much larger communities the building is situated on a well drained slope and with lawn trees tree s and playground equipment it appears to good advantage to the passerby modernized building we are as proud of our chapel as of our ou school building the floor of the general assembly room is mancl and by moving the seats it can lya ba usei used for dancing dancin 9 and other recreational activities indeed it was the only place avail able until the completion of the gymnasium last spring the hall is also equipped with a stage where plays and pageants are produced tile tha basement base nent rient is divided into class rooms and a beautifully furnished bishops bishop s office a meeting room for the relief society and a kitchen all that lacks jacks completion is the baptismal fount and modernizing the kitchen A cement walk along the front of the grounds arid and steps leading to the charge and now have an excellent crop ot of wheat ready to be harvested and turned over to the church security plan the newest civic development here is the construction of a awen ty acre ace park when completed it will contain a race track grandstand rodeo facilities baseball diamond drinking fountain tress trees and lawn in fact it will be hard to find a better place in which to find a better place to hold a celebration b aaion project committees plan to have the park completed for use next summer new homes last but by no means least feast are the comfortable homes of all the people many
