Show state game department outlines 6 year plan roosevelt elf fish and game club to submit two local projects for fish and game department the state fish and game department dopart part ment this week requested the aid of all the fish and game and sportsmens sports mens associations in utah in outlining a six year plan for developing fish and game resources within the state in a communication from the state department received by herbert barlow president of the roosevelt fish and game club it explains as follows we are asked by the utah state planning board to sub submit a plan under the or for the development of fish and game resources for a period of six years the game department has already listed a great many projects as requested but we feel that the sportsmens sports mens associations of the state are a vital of this organization and should be consulted relative to the their ar individual localities we are arc asking that each association of the state survey their respective locality and submit to this office their desires relative to improvement to be done in the next six years such as duck marshes stream improver improvement nent building of hatcheries acquiring and fencing of domain for game sanctuaries of all kinds etc it has been suggested that a duck marsh in the ouray leota valley section be set up as a local project oct under this plan and that duck feed planting projects at suitable locations be started next year A bass planting plan is being worked out by the Roo roosevelt gevelt fish and game club for the stocking of the several reservoirs in ill alii locality |
