Show Children Helping Children It isn't easy growing up in today's complex society. How can adults help children learn to be compassionate compas-sionate jnd responsible Christians in this new and changing world? There's a group working in the schools in the United States that seems to have an answer. Through HCA: Young Catholics in Mission, children are learning about and sharing with children around the world. : rV.... ,' . w - r- r V America's children are helping needy children of other lands. Since 1843, HCA has worked to instill in children a global vision and a lifegiving spirit. HCA educational educa-tional programs that can be used in school and at home offer kids the opportunity to get to know their brothers and sisters throughout the world. HCA programs are voluntary, and each is designed to increase student awareness and participation participa-tion in ways that shape our world. All funds contributed by students are used to support children in need. A uniquely rewarding experience for children, HCA helps them not only to discover the world, but learn how they as children can improve im-prove it. |
