HjOMNGFIOW The Weber River between South Weber and Uintah is still flowing almost to capacity as efforts are being made to reduce the water level of the canyon reservoirs and make room for the expected record-high spring runoff. Weber River and other contributaries to the Great Salt Lake are usually almost dry at this time of year. Meanwhile, Great Salt Lake is still rising and last week began overflowing Interstate Highway 80 west of Grantsville. Mountain snowpack is presently at same depth as it was in early March a year ago when record-high runoff was recorded. |
