Show camp janet editor roosevelt standard thinking perhaps a few lines from our camp might interest sorn some 1 e of 0 f the readers of the standard I 1 thought I 1 would write you camp janet is 55 miles north 0 of lockar vernal n a 1 and 56 miles ile south 0 of f R rock S springs p r fiand W wyo amo T this camp tam p was established on march 28 1915 when work was commenced on the companas comp anys property our first work was the sinking ofa shaft on our no 4 this we ve put down a distance of 55 ft in in ore all the way we also proved the continuity of our ore veins reins in many places for more than a mile in length our next work was the running of a man tunnel for development purposes this tunnel elis is now into the mountain a distance of feet having cut 4 veins of ore oe i in n that distance we are now running a drift on the first and largest of these veins and have a splendid showing of ore in this drift we have a lot of splendid oi ore e jacl 64 and ready for shipment we are waiting for road conditions to improve the rock springs people are now working on the road between our camp and red creek on this piece of roal road when that is done we will have a fairly good road from here to rock springs uintah ainia county has ha s authorized the expenditure of some ome money in sears canyon and will no doubt work up to the state line which is about 6 miles north of our camp so you see things are moving our way as far as roads are concerned we are working seven men at present and have a very good camp with a splendid cook viz mrs henry weight of spring ville we feel that our development work has eliminated to a very great degree the element of doubt we feel that this camp is here to stay and that much good financially will come to owners of stock in the company the boys are always anxious for the home papers with kind regards I 1 am respectfully WM ONEIL gen manager janet C M M co |
