Show AN EVERYDAY EVERY DAY CREED I 1 believe in my job it may not be a very important job but it is mine furthermore it is gods job for me he has a purpose in my life with reference to his plan for the worlds progress no other fellow can take my place it a big place to be sure but for years I 1 have in a peculiar way to fill a peculiar niche in the worlds work I 1 can take no other mans place he has the same claim as a spec ilist that I 1 make for myself in the end the man whose name was never heard beyond the house in which he lived or the shop in which he be worked may have a larger place than the chap whose name has been a household word in two continents yes I 1 believe in my job may I 1 be kept true to the task that lies before me true to myself and to god who entrusted me with e it I 1 believe in my fellow man he may not always agree with me id feel sorry for him if he did for I 1 myself do not believe some of the things th k t were absolutely sure in my mind a dozen years ago may he never lose faith in himself because if he does he may lose faith in me and that would hurt him more than the former and it would really hurt him more than it would me I 1 believe in my country I 1 believe eve in it because it is made up i of my fellow man and myself I 1 cant go back on either of us and be true to my creed if it the best country in the world it is partly because I 1 am rini not the kind of man I 1 should be 1 I 1 balie believe ve in my home it A rich homo it satisfy some folks but it conf contains ains jewels which cannot be purchased in the he markets of the world when whenn I 1 enter its secret chambers and shut out cut the world with its care I 1 am a lord its motto is service service I 1 its reward is love there is no other spot in all the world which fills its place and heaven can be ony a larger home with the father who is all wise and patient and tender I 1 believe in today it is all that I 1 possess the past is of value only as it can make the life lifa of today fuller and freer there is no assurance of tomorrow irow I 1 must make good today rev charles |
