Show BURGESS E WARTHEN the death angel has again visited our cop community Y and left a dear family to mour the loss of a beloved one the subject of this sketch was born november 9 1885 and departed this life july 6 1915 aged 29 years 8 months and 25 days on june 5 1910 he was united in marriage to miss louisa packard to this union two children were born bom one son four years old and a baby six alx weeks old all of whom survive besides the immediate family the tha parents four and three brothers are left to mourn his loss los about eight years ago the deceased became inte interested kested in tie the basin coming here from spring vi ville ile where his parents and four are now living about two years ago he moved his family here and has been devoti devoting bg his time to farming fainting and the honey industry and was making excellent progress he came from the ranch twelve days ago a very sick man A physician was summoned and all that loving hands could do was done to all aviate his suffering he lingered until tuesday noon when he passed away he was well known as an honest industrious man and an all around worthy citizen whose presence will be sadly missed in the community A loving hus bus band a kind father and a good neighbor I 1 the funeral services were held thursday afternoon at the latter day saints church they were very impressive and opened with a prayer by R S Col collett singing by the male quartette j and an impressive and instruct tive sermon by rev P A simp kins of salt lake followed by a solo by miss sutherland a splendid talk to the bereaved by J H hardy and benediction by mr roberts the flowers were profuse and beautiful and added much to the impressiveness of the occasion the remains were interred in the roosevelt cemetery I 1 the sympathy of the entire community is extended to thea the loving wife and other relatives in their sad bereavement |
