BURNOUT BURN OUT ON HOGLAND RANCH one thing the big wind did the other day was to cause a burnout burn buni out on the haglind hagland ranch formerly the D D carter place on the north myton n bench just how the fire start ed is not known but bu it is thought bat that the wind blew the stovepipe there was no chimney against the roof there was probably a hot fire in the stove and the shingles soon became ignited at the time of the fire the entire family with the exception of ir fr hoagland was in the house the stove was near the door and the occupants did well to save themselves mr hoagland seeing the flames ran at once to the house buteas but was too late to be of any assistance the rhe loss while not great was well in the hundreds and included quarts of fresh fruit there was na no insurance fortunately mr hoagland had a new house up to the square at t the time of the fire and the family will soon be installed in its new home
