It adds novelty to parties and correct setting for plays und other occasions. " One of the features of the Hillam Costume Shop service that is bringing them an ever increasing business is the fact that every costume or gar-ment is given a complete renovation after being used and when sent Unit again is parctically new. This lias been a great factor in the rapid in-crease of the business. i In making this review we are pleas-ed to call the attention of the public to this modern service and would suggest that hostesses, schools and societies always take into considera-tion that The Hillam Costume Shop will furnish everything when 'pre-paring for any special function.,, MT. OLYMPUS SPRING WATER CO. With Office Located In The Dooly Building in Salt Lake City, Offers An Fxcellent Service In Distributing Spring Water Which Is Pure, Whole-some And Delicious Mt. Olympus Spring Water Is Recommended By Physicians For All Purposes Where A Pure Water Is Necessary Mt, Olympus Spring Water, The Purest Spring Water Known To Have Been Fcund Anyplace Used In All Of The Better Hornet Everywhere. i The Mt. Olympus Spring Water (Jo. has become quite a health factor in the business and social us well as the homo life of this part of the state by reason of the wholesomeness of their bottled water and the excellent ser-vice given in delivery. Their spring water is bottled with extreme care and all bottles are cure-full- y sterilized. The spring water is so pure that, like milk, it is seeking its. solids, therefore, must be handled with the same care that is required in the handling of milk. They obtain their water from a gushipg spring which is carried in an asphalted iron pipe for nearly a mile to the bottling plant. It is so piped that no contamination can possibly take place, therefore free from bac-teri- u. The success of the Mt. Olympus Spring Water Co. reads like a fairy tale for it was by accidental means that this wonderful pure water was discovered. People who visited the spring were greatly, impressed by its cold sparkling purity und induced the owners to bring a few bottles of this pure water down town to them in their horse and buggy. From this small start it soon developed to where it was necessary to establish regular delivery and today its output during the summer months averages nearly 800 gallons per day. The importance of pure water to-ward health cannot be overestimated, and our best medical authorities con-tend that the average person should drink not less than eight glasses of pure water per day to keep the sys-tem toned up to its greatest degree of efficiency. There is no substitute for pure water and all of our people are fast awakening to the fact that bottled water is always the safest. Mt. Olympus Spring Water is a freak spring water in that it con-tains less than four grains of solid matter per gallon, due to the fact that from the pure melting snow this water does not come in contact with the usual lime formations that all of our western water contains a largo percentage of. This pure snow wat-er only comes in contact with quart-zit- e ledges which are so hard that the water cannot become saturated with mineral or foreign substance. All of the leading baby specialists highly recommend Mt. Olympus Spring Water especially in cases where artificial feeding is necessary, as heavily chlorinated water often causes stomach disorder and intestin-al trouble, and Mt. Olympus Spring Water is so pure that it is not nec-essary that it be .boiled which boil-ing or distillation always kills the natural properties of a water which is so essential toward health. We are pleased to point with pride to the Mt. Olympus Spring "Water Company and do not hesitate! to recommend the use of this wonderful sparkling spring water at all times. This well known concern is one of the most prominent in this part of the state. The plan is modern and in every particular, clean and sanitary throughout. The business is conducted along progres-sive lines and we are proud to say that it is a credit to this section of the country. In the great experiences of life there are none which recall more pleasant memories than the days of youth, when the boy or girl got in mother's pie box just after the bake. Times have changed and many today do- - not get to experience this joy of life unless they patronize an institution of this kind which is often the nearest approach to the old fam-ily pie box in these days of the complexity of civilization. To be able to make certain of get-ting really good pies of all kinds is a great boon to any city. At this plant only the most healthful ingredients are used in the process of manufacture. Analysis has prov-en them to be absolutely free from anything injurious and consequently they are not only health-protectin- g but health-givin- g. If the general public could only comprehend how these products are handled by this company, could un-derstand how pure and health-givin- g they are there would not be a family within its radius that would not be a patron of the concern. They have attained a reputation as one of the greatest bakers of good pies in the country and their pro-duct is imitated by bakers every-where. Many bakers from other sections come to the city and consult with them. The Utah Pie Company is a valuable asset to our commun-ity both from an industrial and do-mestic point of view. We wish to compliment them on their present policief and refer their excellent ser-vice to all our readers. ......... ' v'" PLAGIARISM PUNISHED Robert A. Carter, hack writer of Larchmont, N. Y., hit upon a sure-fir- e plan for getting stories published and paid for. Unwilling to risk the unsure rewards of grinding out tales for paper pulp magazines, mailing and remailing them to apathetic editors, he decided to model his compositions after suc-cessful stories already printed. Not only did he set about copying them as to sense, but as to content, letter perfect. Appreciative Plagiarist Carter con-ned periodicals, selected a daring yarn from "Air Trails," fiction monthly. Last July, he sold it, re-typed under the name "Fortune Fly-ing," to Fiction House, Inc., Manhat-tan publishers of the magazine "Wings." By similar cozenage he had managed to extract $1,100 from the company. All went well until the publishers of "Air Trails" called "Wings' " at-tention to the fact that it was copyrighted fiction. The mulcted monthly immediatly order-ed Plagiarist Carter's arrest. After ' his apprehension, it was discovered'1 that fiction filching was the most re-munerative, but not the exclusive manner of his making a living. Two Manhattan hotels had $850 worth of bad bills against him. i Convicted on the charge of petty larceny, Flagiarist Carter was sen-tenced to serve not less than six months, nor more than three years in the penitentiary.
