Show Gold - Green Ball Held On Tuesday The theme of the Gold and Green Ball held in the chapel Tuesday evening, Dec. 6, was "Bells'." The decorations were unique un-ique having big blue bells hanging at the' windows and Christmas trees were in various places decorated decor-ated with blue bells. There was a very large crowd in attendance, most al.l of the stake MIA officers were there and' groups from various var-ious places. Tal Wardle's orches tra furnished the music. The floor show was under the' supervision of Beverly Anderson. The dance was "Waltz of Bells," with twelve couples cou-ples participating. The following persons from Ballard Bal-lard received their certificates of graduation from the University of Scouting, Friday evening at Roosevelt: Roose-velt: Zane Asay, Calvin Squire, Norman Johnson, Virgia Page, Til-intha Til-intha Rasmussen, Spencer and Alice' Squire and Von and Wilma Haslem. They attended four or five of the six meetings. Mrs. Sarah Norton, of Lapoint, who was quite ill on Saturday, was brought to the home of her daughter, Mrs. Von Haslem, where she would be nearer medical medi-cal care. John Gardner, who planned on going to Calif, to spend some time, received word his sister was much better, so now he will remain re-main home. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Ward' and family of Orem, and the Misses Eva and Essie Sprouse of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Ken-neth Sprouse. They were here to attend the funeral services of their grandmother, Mrs. Emma Sprouse of Roosevelt. |
