Show Fair Attention Focused On Parade Deauty Contest More details have been announced an-nounced on the Duchesne county coun-ty Fair's miniature parade, scheduled for 9:30 Saturday morning, Sept. 9, and sponsored by the Duchesne Lions club. All communities within the county are urged to back parade pa-rade entries, which may include bicycles, tricycles, horseback riders, rid-ers, scooters, bands, floats, and clowns. Adults, as well as children, chil-dren, may take part in the parade. pa-rade. They may choose costume? and incidentals most attractiv. to the parade audience. Also urged to provide entrie:-are entrie:-are church and civic groups such as the Primary, M.I.A., Boy Scouts, American Legion and Auxiliary, and Mother's club. A section of the parade will be reserved for community con-estants con-estants competing for the title, Miss Duchesne County." A irl from each community in :he county, identified by a name banner, i. e.. Miss Duchesne, Du-chesne, Miss Tabiona, etc., will participate. Final iudeine for the "Miss i Duchesne County" contest will not be held until 9:30 of the evening of the parade. The winner announced then will compete for the title, "Miss Utah," at the Utah state fair. |
