Show Mrs. Ellen Bracken Phone 62062 Witness Marriage Mr. and Mrs. Leland Angus, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Angus and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Timothy went to Salt Lake City on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, Aug. 25 to witness the marriage of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nor-man Angus in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The wedidng reception re-ception was held in the Tridell chapel on Friday evening and a large crowd from Ballard was 'in attendance. The young couple received some very lovely gifts. .SUCCESSFUL CARNIVAL The Carnival which was given by the" Primary officers and (teachers on Tuesday, Aug. 24, was very successful and most everything was sold. They received re-ceived $40.00 for the things sold. Ensign Clark, who was a patient pa-tient in the Heber Hospital for three weeks was moved to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Clark in Salt Lake City. Ensign was unconscious most of the time. Mr. and. Mrs. Jack Cook and Orlan Cook attended a wedding reception held at Altamont recently. re-cently. Mrs. Fannie Todd, Mrs. Veda Betts and Mrs. Ellen Bracken attended a quilting party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Sullivan Sul-livan in Roosevelt last Wednesday. Wednes-day. A .beautiful silk quilt was made for the Sullivans' granddaughter grand-daughter in Vernal. Several ladies lad-ies from Roosevelt assisted also. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Roberts and family, of Yakima,' Wash., visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Tod one day last week. Mr. and Mrs. Harden Labrum and family have moved from North Myton Bench to the home Mr. and Mrs. Angus Anderson just vacated. |
