Show ML Emmons Deane Case Mr. and Mrs. Leland Stevenson Steven-son were in Salt Lake. Monday and Tuesday of last week, on business. Mr. Stevenson has the contract for heating and plumbing plumb-ing at the Union high school, and is spending considerable time at the site of the new building. Recent guests at the Volney Boswell home were Lorin Bos-well Bos-well and daughter, Iona, Arthur Ar-thur Chase and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Cook and children, all of Pocatello, Idaho. Mrs. Kelly Sprouse and mall daughter, of Roosevelt, visited last week with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Flpyd Case. Kelly came Sunday tp bring them home, Mr- end Mrs, Lindon Hansen entertained at dinner Friday evening, commemorating the wedding anniversary of their spn and dauihter-.nvlaw, Mr, and Mrs. Lynn Hansen, Others partaking of the repast were Mr, and Mrs, Ned Mitchell and Mr. and Mrs, Hershel lorg and children. The baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen was christened chris-tened "Norman Ray" at Sacrament Sac-rament meeting, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Mar-chant Mar-chant entertained Saturday eve ning at a candy making- party at their home. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Mohlman, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Harris, and Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Guyrnan. Mrs. Stapler giivasey. of Bo-neta, Bo-neta, spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Snow. The Mt. Emmpns ward furnished furn-ished two numbers at the farewell fare-well party given Saturday for Glen Mecham, of Mtn. Home. Bishop Bovee Mecham spoke, and Mrs. Delmar Mecham and Mrs. Bernard Dastrup sang a duet, du-et, accpmpanied by Mrs. Evan Hansen. Other local guests included in-cluded Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Powell, Pow-ell, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Case. Mrs. Bovee Mecham, Ina Mecham, Jeun Mecham, Leona Titcomb, and Bernard Dastrup, Mrs. John Richards and two children, of Mt. Home, visited two days during the week with Mrs. Richard's parents, Mr, and Mrs. George Rogers. |
