Show loka Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Berlha Angus Mary Ann and Virginia Mathi-son, Mathi-son, of Myton, spent a few days last week at the home of their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon. Mrs. John Brice and son, Kenneth, Ken-neth, arrived Friday from San Jancinto, Calif, to spend their summer vacation . with their daughter and sister, Mrs. Tom Gentry. W. G. Gentry and J. B. Lemon sent their cattle to summer range Saturday. Roene Lemon entertained a few friends at her home Tuesday Tues-day afternoon, the occasion being be-ing her birthday anniversary. Mrs, Olga Roberts, Mrs. Nora Mathews, Mrs. Dorothy Walker and Mrs. Rose Walker, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, called on Mrs. W. G. Gentry Gen-try Saturday afternoon. Among those from loka shopping shop-ping and caring for business matters mat-ters in Roosevelt, Friday, were Bishop Drollinger, Mrs. Charles Hardman, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Loury and Dean Washburn. Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy and family spent Sunday with Mr. Timothy's mother, Mrs. Ellen El-len Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Webb and little son visited' Clayton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Webb. Saturday. Orville Dart, of Baldwin Park, Calif., Ralph and Willis Dart left Wednesday on a short fishing fish-ing trip. Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Dennis and 2 sons, of Clear Water, Calif., visited relatives here the past week. Mr. and Mrs, C. E. Whitman, of Salt Lake City, were weekend week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ned Gines. Mr. and Mrs. Allen E. Drollinger Drol-linger and son, Don. of St. George, Utah, visited here during dur-ing the past week. They attended attend-ed Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. John Angus and Edna Angus were entertained at dinner Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Allen. Speakers in Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were MaDonna Lemon, Lem-on, Evan Percival and Archie Benson. A musical reading was given by Sally Nelson, accompanied accom-panied by LeRae Drollinger. Primary officers held a closing clos-ing party for the children, Tuesday Tues-day under the direction of James Lemon, Primary advisor. They planted a tree with the names of every Primary child in the ward sealed in a bottle and put at the root of the tree. Games were played and dancing enjoyed. en-joyed. Lynn and Edgar Cook, of Bluebell, visited Thursday with John and Alton D. Percival. The kindergarten class enjoyed en-joyed another birthday party last Sunday. Those honored this time were Nina Morrell and Dean Christofferson. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd entertained en-tertained Mr. and Mrs. Joe Dun- can and Mr. and Mrs. LaZelle Henrrie, of Neola; Mr. and Mrs. Shelby Lisonbee, of Bridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. Adwin Beeler, and 1 Mr. and Mrs. Alex Sullivan, of Roosevelt; Mr. and Mrs. Med Benson, of loka; Mr. and Mrs. DeVere Dennis, of Clearwater, Calif., at a weiner roast Sunday evening, June 20. |
