Show Lapoint Mrs. Mable Jenkins The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers held their meeting Feb. 12 at the home of Ardia Neilson. The lesson was given by Erma Savage. Refreshments were served ser-ved to twelve members. Ed Mowrcy has gone to Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho to get his wife, who has been visiting with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ercel Palmer. M s Erva Hubcr, Thelma Lee, Mrs. Rex Taylor, Alice Jenkins, Gcorgie Thompson. Vela Ras-musscn Ras-musscn and Myrna Taylor attended attend-ed the institute held Saturday at the Uintah High school. Visitors at Sunday School were Stake President Archie Johnson, Jessie Haws, Br yon Goodrich, Stake Sunday School Superintendent Superinten-dent Alvin E. Weeks, Stake Clerk C. Lawrence Fox, Mrs. Nellie Allen, Mrs. Lola Christensen. Mrs. Marv Manwarring, Mrs. Taylor and Mrs. Tullis. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Stewart and Mrs. Sussie Smith, of Mt. Pleasant, Plea-sant, have been visiting with Lizzie Liz-zie Neilson. A shower was given last week at the Thomas Burton residence for baby Burton. Refreshments were served to a large crowd. Bessie Turner, of Ogden; Cassie Dean and Pearl Moysh, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, were among the guests. Peck Jenkins spent the weekend week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frnnk Jnk'ns, and returned return-ed to Craig, Sunday. Javins Foster, of Salt Lake, is spending a few days with his nar-ents. nar-ents. Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster. Fos-ter. Ward Conference was held Sunday evening with visitors from Vernal. Speakers included Bryon Goodrich, Jessie Haws, Arlene Johnson and Bishop J. L. Walker. |
