The following follow-ing program was rendered: duet by Lela Miller and Barbara Allred; reading, Bobby Clark; games were played and refreshments refresh-ments were served. Gifts were presented to the Primary teachers teach-ers by the officers in appreciation apprecia-tion for their good work during the winter. Mr.and Mrs. Pcrvcncil Clark moved back to Altonah last week after spending several years at outside points. Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Max-field Max-field and daughters of Wellington Welling-ton spent a few days visiting relatives here last week. The D. U. P. held their regular reg-ular meeting Wednesday at the home of Mrs. Josephine Beebe with Mrs. Ellen Madsen assisting. assist-ing. The lesson, "Sayings, Jingles, Jing-les, mottoes, sermoneltes of the Pioneers," was given by Mrs. Francis Allred, refreshments were served to Mrs. Janet Beebe, Mrs. Mary Carroll, Mrs. Margaret Marg-aret Maxficld, Mrs. May R. Lambert. Lam-bert. Mrs. Bertha Ralphs, Mrs. Majy Bowdcn, Mrs. Ruby Powell, Pow-ell, Mrs. Lola Jones, Mrs. Eva Shiner, Mrs. Vendetta Clark, Mrs. Georgia Shiner, Mrs. Francis Fran-cis Allred, and the hostesses, Mrs. Ellen Madsen and Josephine Josep-hine Beebe. |
