Show Clara Broderick, Dean Washburn Wed In Temple Rite The Manti LDS temple was the setting for the nuptial ceremony cere-mony uniting Miss Clara Broderick, Brod-erick, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hillard R. Broderick, and Al Dean Washburn, son of Mrs. Wasee Washburn, of Provo. The marriage vows were solemnized sol-emnized by President Anderson of the Manti temple in a ceremony cere-mony performed Tuesday, September Sep-tember 6, at high noon. The new Mrs. Washburn, a student at the B Y U, graduated from the Roosevelt high school with the class of 1944 and served ser-ved a mission to eastern Canada for the LDS church during 194G-1948. 194G-1948. Mr. Washburn, a graduate of Blanding high school, class of '44, also fulfilled a 2-year mission mis-sion for the LDS church, stationed sta-tioned in the Western States mission mis-sion field. Since his return he has been enrolled at the B Y U. Mr. and Mrs. Washburn arc now enjoying a honeymoon trio through Utah's southern parks. Upon their return, they will make their home in Provo where both will resume their college work. They will be honored at an open house in Blanding on Sept. 10 at the home of Mr. Washburn's Wash-burn's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Larck Washburn. |
