Show W. A. Day Suffers Injuries In Provo Accident Willard A. Day, state road commission member from Roosevelt Roose-velt was seriously injured in an accident at the home of his mother-in-law, Mrs. J. A. Myler of Provo, early in the week. The urriHpnt. rirmrpri while Mr. Dav I was cutting limbs from a tree in .Mrs. Myler's yard. One of the larger top limbs broke loose, falling on Mr. Day, breaking his back and cracking his ribs, ribs. Early reports were to the effect ef-fect that Mr. Day had received injuries in a highway accident near Provo, however, the correct cor-rect account was released Thursday Thurs-day morning by Mr. Day's family. fam-ily. Mr. Day is undergoing treatment treat-ment at the Valley hospital in Provo where his condition is reported re-ported as improving. It is expected expect-ed that he will be confined to the hospital fo.r about two more weeks. Upon being released physicians phy-sicians indicate that he will be required to wear a walking cast for several months. |
