Show Bluebell Mrs. Garda Seeley Mr. and Mrs. Morriss Monsen, of Mt. Emmons, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ross Monson, Saturday evening. V Mr. and Mrs. Walter Remington Reming-ton took their daughter, Jean, to Vernal, Saturday, to receive dental den-tal attention. Mr. and Mrs. William O. Lar-sen Lar-sen took their daughter, Twila, to Roosevelt, Thursday for a check-up. Twila has been ill for several weeks with a kidney infection. in-fection. The doctor advised her to remain in bed another week. A large crowd of Boy Scouts with their leader, Clyde Lison- bee, and some of the parents went to Roosevelt, Saturday evening eve-ning to attend a meeting for the observance of Boy Scout Week President George Albert Smith, of the Latter-Day Saints church, was the principal speaker. President Winkler and son, Udell, and daughters, Maxine Beth and Pauline; were among those who attended stake conference con-ference at Roosevelt, Sunday. The following ladies gathered at the home of Mrs. Gardner Goodrich on Thursday at a quilting quilt-ing bee: Mrs. Sylvia Goodrich, Mrs. Lydia Bird, Mrs. Zella Goodrich, Mrs. Lydia Hancock, Mrs. Garda Seeley, Mrs. Martha Smith, Mrs. Belle Bird and Mrs Gardner Goodrich. Mrs. Zola Stevenson went to Roosevelt, Wednesday, to be with her son, Wallace, who had his tonsils removed. Mrs. Stevenson Steven-son came home the same day, but Wallace remained at the hospital hos-pital until Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich went to Roosevelt, Thursday where they were thrilled to get a new washing machine. Mrs. Sylvia Goodrich was very pleasantly surprised when her family gave her a new electric refrigerator. Mrs. Velma Monson taught school on Wednesday for Mrs. Zola Stevenson, while she was in Roosevelt. The ward officers are very busy preparing for a ward reunion re-union to be held on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the ward hall. ; Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Mohlman and .three children, of Altonah, attended Sacrament meeting 1 , here Sunday. I"' Mrs. Mina Goodrich has beea I ill the past two weeks with a strep throat. She is much better now. Alva Hancock and son, Glenn, and daughter, Donna, of Salt Lake, visited here over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. L. Han-i Han-i cock and other relatives. They are all enjoying their new home in Salt Lake.
