Show Ballard Ellen Bracken Leonard Betts spent the weekend week-end at the home of his parents, Mr, and Mrs. Clarence Betts. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Bingham and sons, of Long Beach, Calif., are visiting relatives here and in Vernal. The Binghams are former Alterra residents. Mrs. Ethel Young- and children of Randlctt, are visiting at the home of her parents. A group of Ballard and Independence In-dependence women held ;i stork shower Friday, June 11, for Mrs. Cathryn Farrcr at the home of her mother, Mrs. Elton Jones. Mr. and Mrs, Lester Kettle, of Ballard, entertained one evening last week for Mr. and Mrs. S. B. Kettle, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kettle and family, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Elton Kettle and children. chil-dren. Mr. and Mrs. LeRo'y Anderson Ander-son and family arc moving from the J. C. Angus home to their farm south of Ballard. Mrs. Garn Bodily has moved to Salt Lake to be with her husband hus-band who is working there. Her mother, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins, went out with her Saturday. Mrs. Max Gardner and two children, of Neola, visited at the Kettle homes, Saturday. Mrs. Ed Coston and daughters, Mrs. Jessie Pickup and Mrs. Ethel Young-, of Randlett, attended at-tended the wedding reception at Montwel Saturday afternoon for Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Gleaton. Jesse Hullinger made a trip to Yellowstone Park, taking his daughters, Bonnie and Larane, who will be employed there during the summer months. Mr. an'd Mrs. Gus Peterson, of Salt Lake, visited Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Kettle recently. The family of Mrs. Ernest Betts met at the home of Mrs. Marvin Kettle, June 13, in observance ob-servance of Mrs. Bett's birthday. birth-day. Relief Society closing social was held June 15 under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Pearl Jenkins, president, with 1st counselor Maude Anderson in charge of refreshments; 2nd counselor Ellen El-len Bracken in charge of games; secretary Julia Kettle in charge of the programs.
