Marriage Announced Mr. and Mrs. Albert Blank of Neola announce the marriage of their daughter, D. Wanda to Mr. Harvey Le Vey Higgle, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Peyton Rig-gle Rig-gle of Orange, California. The wedding was held at the home of the bride's parents with the Rev. James H. Hailwood officiating. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a princess prin-cess gown of ivory satin, entrain, with a sweetheart neckline bordered bor-dered with pearling. Her fingertip finger-tip veil fell from a cornet of lace, and she carried a bouquet of white carnations centered with an orchid. She was attended by her sister, Mrs. J. Lewis Ludlow, who wore a drape gown of turquoise tur-quoise crepe and carried rose carnations. Mr. Willis Stevens was best man. Following the wedding a reception was held. Assisting at the tea table were Mrs. Royal Horrocks, her daughters, daugh-ters, Minola and Modena, and Mrs. Cecil Peterson, and Mrs. Tal Wardle. Special guests were the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Peyton Riggle, and his grandmother Mrs. M. C. Will iams of Santa Ana, California. Jusl-a-Merd Club Just a Mere Club held an outdoor out-door party at the home of Mrs. Tina Wilkins Wednesday evening. even-ing. Members present were Lola Richens, Reva Owen, Lora Kill-ian, Kill-ian, Dora Larsen, Dorothy Walker, Walk-er, Gladys Zimmerman, Bessie Wardle, Erma Labrum and the hostess, Tina Wilkins. |
