Show BLUEBELL Gilbert Kimball arrived home on Monday. He has been in California Cal-ifornia since school let out. Miss Donna Roe and LaVern Powell visited in Duchesne Monday. Mon-day. Donna Doe is going to visit a week with her sister. Mrs. Emma Asay was in town Sunday shaking hands with old friends. Mrs. Asay has been employed em-ployed at California for the past two years. She has now moved to Ogden where she intends to find employment. Her son in law of Ogden brought her here after part of her furniture. Mrs. Garda Seeley and two daughters, Jean and Janet and Mrs. Laura Seeley were visiting in Mt. Emmons on Tuesday. A number of mothers and daughters from here attended the Moon Lake Stake Mothers and Daughters outing on the river July 11th. Miss Pauline Winkler fell off from a fence and broke her left arm. She was taken to Roosevelt for medical treatment. Mrs. Maurine Smith and small daughter who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Powell left Tuesday to visit her husband's parents at Mont-well. Mont-well. Mrs. Smith will return here before returning to where her husband has employment outside. out-side. Russel Robison helped Leslie B. Goodrich and boys a few days in the hay. Private Bert Allred is spending spend-ing his two weeks furlough here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claud Allred. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Remington Reming-ton took their daughter, Oriole Jean to Roosevelt on Tuesday for medical treatment. Lorin Goodrich was kicked on his leg, by his horse on Wednesday Wednes-day while trying to run some horses into the pasture. The Primary officers are planning plan-ning on entering a float in the parade at the Pioneer celebration at Altamont on the 24th July. Miss Vera Rogers of Mt. Emmons Em-mons visited here Monday I with Miss Betty Lou Seeley en-route en-route to Duchesne where she has employment. Miss Norma Hancock returned return-ed home on Saturday evening from Farmington where she has spent the past six months. Her sister, Mrs. Myrle Smith of Farmington accompanied her here. The Misses Nellie and Gladys Stevenson who have spent their two week's vacation here returned return-ed this week to their work at Price. Morris Tulgreen of Salt Lake City came after his wife and four children on Monday. They spent the past two weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John K. Therning. |
