Powell and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Powell went to Sandy on Friday to at-' at-' tend the wedding of Carl Powell 'and Miss Sarah Ilardcaslle. They returned home on Sunday. Bert Allrcd accompanied them. A party was held for the outgoing out-going Relief Society officers on Tuesday afternoon. They are M. Verona Winkler, president; Florence Flor-ence Hancock and Martha Smith, counselors; and Martha Thorscn secretary. The new officers are Lucille Winkler, president; Cora Wathen and Zella Goodrich, counselors and Martha Thorscn, secretary. A crowd of people went to Ml. Emmons on Tuesday night to attend at-tend a farewell parly for Zella Rust who is leaving on an L D S Mission. Mrs. Lois Goodrich gave a reading as part of the program. A number of men helped Lee Lisonbee work on his new home one day this week. Lee's home burned last winter. Mrs. Lois Goodrich honored her son. Jay at a birthday party on Wednesday afternoon. Those present were Grant Drollingcr. Bobbie Goodrich, Helcne and Buddy Hancock. Mrs. Cora Wathen returned home on Thursday from Salt Lake City where she has spent the past ten days at the home of her daughter. |
