Show LAPOINT Mrs. MabU Jenkint - Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Workman Work-man have moved to Vernal. Mrs. May Sprouse was called to Provo Wednesday. Her daughter, daugh-ter, Donna Walker, is ill with pneumonia. Mrs. Golden Winn was taken to the Roosevelt hospital Friday morning. Mrs. Margaret Harrison went to Vernal Thursday to spend the weekend with her daughter, Frances Horrocks. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Bodily are the parents of a baby girl, born October 2. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison and Bishop and Mrs. Leo Walker went to Salt Lake to attend the conference. George Bigelow and Lyle Perry went to Salt Lake Sunday on business. Mr. and Mrs. Lige Savage, of Vernal, are visiting his mother, Mrs. Nolan Savage. ' Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins returned home Tuesday from Salt Lake City, Ogden, Logan, and Idaho. The Hayden Foster Sunday School class gave a party for Lyle Taylor and Jack Jenkins at Roy Huber's home, Sunday night. The boys are going to Logan to attend school. There were about twenty guests present. pres-ent. Pvt. Boyd Winn, of Lapoint, and Pvt. Ed Bigan, of New Jersey, Jer-sey, returned to Ft. Ord, California Califor-nia after spending a few days in Lapoint. Mrs. Pearl Preece went to Salt Lake City Monday for medical aid. A birthday party was held Sunday, October 6 for Clifford Bigelow, at his home. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Bige-1 low went to Salt Lake Thursday ' on business. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Ethredth of Alabama, and Phil McKowen, of Bennett, were in Lapoint Saturday Sat-urday visiting Mrs. Ethredth'a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Norton, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Phillips, of Ogden, spent a few days at the home of Mrs. Phillips' parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Neumeyer. Mrs. Grace Reynolds went to Las Vegan Friday to make her home. Mrs. Bill Yack, of Neola, spent the weekend at the home of her mother. Mrs. Caroline Thompson. Thomp-son. A shower was held Thursday in the ward chapel for Lolabell Lee Elder. A program was presented pre-sented and refreshments served to a large crowd. Music was furnished fur-nished by the Ross Brothers. |
