Show Students enter projects in homemaking The summer homemaking schooling projects are now underway as evidenced by the of the girls The project began officially June 15 and will be completed August under direction of the Duchesne County Board of Thirty-six girls from Duchesne and Altamont are working on the summer projects supervised by Miss Charlotte Whittaker who was home economic department instructor at the Duchesne high school last The girls are working on selected projects in the areas of food meal personal and home The summer project is sponsored free of charge by the State Vocational The program gives any girl from 12 to 17 the opportunity to earn extra school credit by spending 70 hours on the project projects are done at home because the homemaking program administrators believes the home is an important factor in education and wants to incorporate the home economics program in the home Miss Whittaker In supervising the Miss Whittaker will make three or four visits to the home of each girl to check the progress of the project and to visit with the family and answer any questions about |
