Show School News ALTAMONT ELEMENTARY For the past six weeks 31 boys between the ages of 10 and 12 have been playing Bantam Basketball on Saturdays under the supervision of Coach Rod Ross Iorg and members of the Altamont High School basketball team Last two Williams and played an eight-minute basketball exhibition which was the high spot of the evening Four teams have been entered in this with Mitchell Lamont Williams and Ross Iorg as sponsors the members of these teams wish to thank these men for thir cooperation and and we especially wish to thank Alan Iorg for donating the funds to purchase basketball Thanks Mr Brown and Mr Miller of Duchesne Elementary spent two days visiting and observing teaching in Case's fourth grade and Goodrich's fifth We were very happy to have these fine teachers with Beckstead and her second grade along with visited Lee Jessen at his home a few minutes last We all wish him a speedy One hundred new books were added to our library last week Swasey was very happy to show them to us and let us check them out Members of the Snow College Ward basketball team were weekend visitors at the Waldo Hansen and Ross Iorg Larry Hansen and Alan Iorg were hosts to the team at a chicken dinner served to 20 Alan and Larry are members of the Snow College Ward basketball and Henry and and Ross Iorg were guests of and Clarence Jones last Saturday Cards and visiting were BRIEF NOTES Douglas principal of Altamont High was in last week attending a principal's Evan Bennion is m Salt Lake City with her Her R.
