Show Sportsmen's Clubs in Six Eastern Utah I Counties Plan Federation Wasatch and Sumral i Join with Federation i Representatives of Wildlife clubs in Wasatch and Summit counties with statements from Wildlife clubs in Carbon and Emery ties met Sunday in Vernal with representatives of Duchesne and Uintah county sportsmen's organizations and requested admission into the partly formed Uintah Basin Wildlife The request was made in the hope of organizing a large and power-I ful Eastern Utah federation to fight for recognition of this area by the State Fish and Game and to combat the strongly organized northern and southern parts of the state which now receive nearly all funds spent by the Fish and Game for development of wildlife Because Uintah Basin clubs had already begun such an clubs in other Eastern counties reported a willingness to fall into line with the Uintah Basin Wildlife Suggestions were made that the name be changed to Eastern Utah Wildlife federation and include all area in the state east of Salt Lake and north of the south border of Emery Delegates from the three Basin Roosevelt and chesne expressed a desire to perfect the broader organization and a willingness to change the name to include the broader Organization Meeting Machinery to perfect the organization was then put into action when a motion was passed V.
