Miss Barbara Gray of Salt Lake was home for Christmas day. She Returned to Salt Lake Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Rex and small son John Morgan, are visiting at the home of his father Mr. P. H. Rex, in Randolph. Harold has been in Rio de Janeiro, month Brazil, for the past twenty-seve- n as Business where he is employed Manager for the Coordinator of Affairs, Division of Health and Sanitation Office in Rio. His wife, Diania Haycock Rex, and son joined him in Brazil Jan. 3, 1943, three months after Harold arrived there. She and John Morgan travelled down the West Coast of South American and over the Andes Mountains by plane to written .from New home. Frank Frazier, Mr. and Mrs.' Elmer Frazier and Brent had Mr. and Mrs. Christmas dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Frodsham at Evanston. Shirley D. and Mark Frodsham returned home with these folks to spend a few days with these folks. Maud Cox, Delora, Bob and Ivy ate Christmas dinner and the day with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Nebeker at Evanston. A dance at Randolph Monday evening was attended by many of the folks of our town. They all had a very fine time. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Dean and boys spent Christmas day at Randolph with Mr. and Mrs. Dave Jones and family. Gilbert Cox of Ogden spent Christmas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Heber Cox. These folks received some very beautiful table covers from their son, Ray, who is in Italy. Ray also sent some pictures of this country to them. Carma and Kent Harris of Evanston are at the home of their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Eastman for the holidays. Mr. and Hazen Atkinscjn of Evanston spent Christmas day with Mrs. Eve Cornia, Kay and Farley. Dee Jay and Allen Dean, children of Mrl and Mrs. Waldo Dean of Evanston are haing a good time with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Dean, while vacation is here. Mrs. Beatrice Dean and two sons of Randolph visited Tuesday and the night with Mr. and 'Mrs. Ray Dean. Mr. and Mrs. Lou Kennedy and family of Clearfield spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Putnam. From all reports old Santa Claus was real good to everyone in town and of course he 'only comes to good people. The bishopric and Relief Society gave boxes of fine things to eat to some of the families in town. Some more of the fine Christmas spirit. Inter-Americ- Rio. The family made their return trip by plane to Miami, Florida. Mrs. Rex and John Morgan will remain in Salt Lake and at a later date join Mr. Rex in Brazil. Mr. Rex will leave Salt Lake early in January for Washington from where he will proceed to Brazil later. Miss Jerry Larson is home from Idaho Falls, where she has been for the past several months. . N. L. Gray was a business visitor at Ogden Tuesday. Free dance will be given Friday night Dec. 29th. The pictures of all the boys from Randolph will be on display. Oscar Bellman returned from last Friday where he went to attend the funeral of his brother, Dave Bellman. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marsh of Evanston spent Christmas day with friends ' and relatives in Randolph and attended the dance in the evening. The program presented by the MIA and Primary on Christmas eve in the ward chapel was attended by one of the largest crowds of the year, 490 being present. The pageant Star of the East" was presented by the Primary and was an outstanding success. At the close of the service Santa Claus appeared, gave a talk to the children, then presented each one of them with a sack of candy and nut3 as they left for home. In the afternoon the MIA sponsored a mobile seranaders group which was loaded with decorated Xmas trees and carolers. A pleasant innova( , ser-Vvu- Kem-mer- er leader, Mrs. Crace Norris, took baskets and made calls at eight homes taking with them a bit of the Christmas spirit. Mr. Charles Norris who has been living in Cgden for the last year was in Randolph combining business with pleasure for one day last week. Miss Leona Farnsworth who is attending school at the BYU in Provo, spent the holidays at the ranch home Mr. of her sister and brother-in-laand Mrs. Farrell Spencer. Miss Farnsworths home is in Colunia B uwitn, Chichuahua, Old Mexico. Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Spencer spent the day of Dec. 24th with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rob Spencer in Logan.
