Show locals mrs ella fackrell returned to ogden wednesday after spending several days in randolph and evanston looking after her interests here mr and mrs C A taylor of clearfield came saturday to spend a week with her mother mrs ella schenck gilbert 0 bills has purchased sod the business and equipment of the durnford mortuary and took over the management of the business on aug mr bills has been in evanston for about four years and during that time has been employed at the bryan mortuary he has made many friends n evanston and thel the surrounding territory and has been very active in both civic and religious reli gous affairs of the community he is a member of the fire department and a member of the boy scout executive co council urical and a member of the bishopric of the evanston first ward the durnford dumford mortuary has been in business in evanston for 15 years or more and before going into bu business for himself ray durnford dumford was manager of the beeman and cashin mortuary for many many years so the durnford dumford family lias has for a long period of time been engaged in the funeral business in a evanston mr and mrs fred coles and daughter ier of evanston were in randolph last thursday mr and mrs W E marshall and daughter doris visited in ogden sunday mrs leo mckinnon went to ogden tuesday for a short visit mr mckinnon went for her and miss arlene mckinnon who has been vacationing mt at ogden for several weeks miss ruth mckinnon spent a few days visiting in evanston at the home of mr and an d mrs weldon burleigh this week mrs wesley kearl and mrs ralph hanney motored to ogden tuesday to see mr and mrs francis mr is very ill at the dee hospital they returned home thursday and report air slightly improved J mrs airs hannah wood of ogden and mrs airs frank wall of portland are visiting at ane home of mr and mrs J B richey mrs edna smith and mrs jane jones were business visitors at evanston last wednesday mr and mrs harvey harris and childr tn were sage visitors sunday mrs fred smith returned home on friday from a short visit with her daughter and son fion in law mr and mrs ronald sims P H and A G rex have gone TO attend a funeral of a niece daughter of ld mr and mrs V 0 jackson of beltry montana the following people left friday for albon albion idaho to attend the funeral of mrs airs norma lloyd who died at kemmere mr and mrs harry lloyd air and mrs dallas johnson mr and mrs elbert lloyd mr and mrs harold lloyd miss alta lloyd and miss lois johnson mrs gladys conley of ogden came last friday to see her mother mrs ada muir who is quite ill she returned sunday J F wilson returned from a short trip to ogden friday john jones came home friday from evanston where he be has been working wr mr and mrs david olang and children have returned to rosette utah after spending a short time with mrs alice reay wiss lilly cam home friday from crom a short visit at evanston wyo she brought her little niece with her pat thomas son of mrs bertha is home on a two weeks furlough set calvin whitney who has been at the boise hospital at fort douglas came home friday mrs alice demick of montpelier mother of mrs earl visited her last week miss florence smith walo who is attending school at the weber college was home over last week end mgt norman call and miss ila call of ogden relatives of mrs alice hoffman spent last week end with ditl mr and mrs ed hoffman Ho fiman we also have heard that mgt call is very much interested te in a certain young young lady here nd that diamond rings are flashing and perhaps wedding bells will soon be ringing what about it elaine mr and mrs james martin and mr and mrs ralph thomas of ogden were last sunday visitors at the home if mrs goldae corless mrs martin was formerly miss dorothy Co boriess Corie riess aa |
