Show 17 J auff NEWS myrtle spencer has been on the sick list this week we hope she is soon well weil and able to be around again field day for all the school friday each teacher and her students went into the hills and fields for the day each child took his lunch and had the opportunity to study nature and have an enjoyable time keith cornia met with an accident and got his shoulder dislocated but we hope he gets along alright the 6 7 and ath grades at randolph entertained those grades ot of our school they all reported as having had a swell time with sc avinger hunt lunch and what not mrs annie frazier has returned home tom from eureka nevada where she has leen been visiting with mr and mrs bill laird aird and family their oldest son franklin returned home with her ha is going to spend his summer vacation ioa here with his grandmother and help on the farm also mr and mrs john COX cos and family of salt lake city were here sunday visiting relatives and friends mrs reed putnam who is living in kemmerer with her folks was a town visitor sunday mr and mrs kenneth hoffman their baby and brother wesley were here sunday visiting with mr and mrs chas cox and family miss poison returned home to kemmerer for the week end mr and mrs ted south and family were here the week end they took their cows and the tha rest of their things with them as they have purchased a f fara arth in providence now we wish them success in their new undertaking mrs thea dean was very happy this week end when the scarlet fever quarantine flag was taken down and they could be free to go about again mr and mrs elden putnam and family of evanston were town visitors on sunday our relief society was reorganized sunday mrs cynthia was released as president and mrs teenie may stacey was made president with mae hopkins as first counselor and eddis huffaker as second counselor and uly lily cornia as secretary we wish ish them success in their new mrs thelm duck buck Is on the sick list lit this week end we hope she is soon well and around again monday shirley cox returned home hom for a few days furlough he has jut just continued on last page WOODRUFF NEW S finished his boot training in the marine corp his family were really surprised but it made them very happy also mr the superintendent of the schools was at our school monday mrs dorothy dean and thea neville were evanston shoppers tuesday the school had a very nice social tuesday evening they had a program given by the school children music by th town orchestra for some dancing and sal of pies and ice cream there was a very nice crowd there |
