RANDOLPH UTAH-- LAKETOWN NEWS Locals We hear that Gifford Weston and Miss Mae Wyatt of Wellsville took a motor trip to Remo, Nevada, last week and were joined in the Holy Bonds of matrimony in that city. The young couple will reside in Ogden. Cecil Windley, Margene Eller and Oliver Irwin went to Ogden, last Wednesday. Miss Irwin left from there for Glendale, Calif., after a six weeks stay at home. Mr. Wind-le- y and Margene are employed; he at Ogdea and Margene at Salt Lake. A P.T.A. meeting at which a new organization was effected for the coming year, was held here Wednesday night. IPresident and Mrs. G. H. Robinson and Bp. and Mrs. J. H. Weston left for Victor, Idaho, on Thursday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Annie Curtis, the ladies sister. Pres. Robinson returned on Saturday and Bp. and Mrs. Weston went on to Ririe, to see their son Milton, who teaches there, and returned Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Jos. A. Cheney and Miss Neilsen motored to Parko, Wyo., Mr. and Mirs. Lloyd K. Schlappi mo- tored to Salt Lake City Wednesday to spend the Thanksgiving holiday. Mrs. Zettie Kearl has returned to her home at Laketown after spending several days visiting with her chidren at X Randolph. 4 Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Ashby motored X to Salt Lake City Thursday to spend X the holiday. Dr. and Mrs. M. S. Reay and Postmaster Claude Reay, were Salt Lake visitors during the week. Ed Ppe is visiting with relatives at Ogden, Utah, this week. Mr. and Mrs. Kunz of California are visiting Mrs. Kurtzs parents this week. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Calleshaw of Kemmerer were Randolph visitors during the week with Mrs. Calleshaw s parents, Mr. and Mra. David Norris. Mr. and Mrs. Max Argyle and daughter of California are visiting over the holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Argyle. Mr. and Mrs. Matt Nicholls have moved into the back apartments of Mrs. Arthur McKinnon. Mrs. Calvin Whitney has returned to Randolph to live with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Kennedy, while her 4 husband is on duty. Mr. and Mrs. David Olague and son LaRaye, have moved to Ducin, Utah, for the winter. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hendee, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hess motored to Logan Thursday to spend Thanksgiving with Mr. and Mrs. Kay Barton. Mrs. Farrell Peart motored to Salt Lake Wednesday for her mother, Mrs. Sadie Pead. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Marshall were Ogden visitors Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Longhu"st were business visitors at Evanston Thursday evening. Other activities of the Mothers Cluo are devoted primarily to needy students. In addition to a student loan fund, the organization, composed of Salt Lake City matrons, daily supplies a large number of students with milk. Caps and gowns are loaned to graduating seniors who cannot afford to rent them, free luncheons are given during the three test weeks of the school year, magazines and newspapers are supplies for students, a girl scout is sent to summer camp, and Santa is subbed for each year by the group. HIGH SOCIETY Registration for a Home Economics class in Interior Decorating provides many University of Utah girls with an entree to some of Salt Lakes more beautiful homes. Each week the class visits an outstanding home, at the invitation of its owner.
