Mrs. Raymond Esterholdt and children of Garden City spent Sunday with the C. E. Cheneys. Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Gheen were the recipients of a surprise party . Saturday night- perpetrated by the members of Mrs. Gheens immediate family. Sunday evening they were supper guests of the "Stitch and Chatter club at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Prxe. Mr. and Mrs. Gheen left Monday morning for Challis, Idaho, where he has employ- - ' ment. Stake Sunday School Board members, Mrs. Hymas and Jesse Matthews of Liberty Idaho paid a visit to our ward Sunday School Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Weston motored to Logan Friday to attend the performance of Faust presented by students of the U. S. A. C. Primary conference was held Sunday afternoon featuring Faith and Service in song story, and dramatization. Sisters Delthia Painter, Hortense Rich, Inez Findlay and Erma Stock of the Stake Board were present. George Fainter was along as chauffeur. Several of our lecal seventies and their wives attended a party sponsored by the President of the seventies at Garden City on Wednesday, March 5th and they report having had a very good time. Lieutenant Norman Wahlstrom located at Randolph Field at San Antonio, Texas, is home on a short furlough visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Wahlstrom. Willis took their daughter, Mary, to Soda Springs Sunday for an appendectomy. .They were accompanied oy Dr. Reay of Randolph. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Robinson of Evanston, Wyoming spent the weekend at the Heber C. Robinson homo. Mr. and Mrs. John Lamborn of Logan, Utah were visiting among kin and friends Sunday. They took Grandma Barbara Early back with them. Correction: Our report last week stated that President and Mrs. O. H. Robinson had gone on a 30 day traveling cruise. It should have stated it was a 3 day visit to their daughters, Mrs. Grace Jasperson and family at Gashen, Utah. Multiplying a story by 10 times isnt too good a blunder. Sorry. Word was received Monday of the birth of a fine daughter born to Mv. and Mrs. Dell Reynolds of Circle-villUtah at the Sevier Valley hospital at Richfield, Utah. Mrs. Reynolds was the former Miss Grace Irwin. The mother and baby are both doing well. It is also reported that a fine daughter was born recently to Mrs. James Van Vleet of Salt Lake City, who was formerly Miss Nelda Kearl. Peart is to the effect that Mrs. Peart was operated upon Slarch 8th and is improving after a very successful kidney operation. Sir. Peart, suffering with heart trouble, was some improived at the last report. Their many friends hope for their speedy recovery. Sir. and Sirs. Carl Norris and Sir. and Sirs. Wilford Norris left Wednesday morning for Salt Lake City to visit with friends from New York City who had brought their daughter, Aliss Jean Fagglund to be buried at Salt Lake. Sir. and Sirs. George Groll entertained for Sire and Sirs. Jack of Provo, Utah, at a party and midnight supper. The old gang reports a fine time. Sirs.
