Austin, Director of the Bureau of Census, to alien T. Sanford, State Director, National Emergency Council showed total sales of $132,008,000 in 5839 stores. The State shows an increase of forty-fou- r percent over the sales of 1933. The 5839 stores are shown to have em1 ployed during 1935 an average of e and part-titn- e employees to whom was paid a total payroll of $14,611,000. The number of employees increased twenty-fou- r percent for the two year period, and payroll increased forty-onpercent. Salt Lake, Weber, Utah, Cache, Carbon, Box Elder, Iron, Sevier, Sanpete, and Davis Counties show the largest volume of retail sales. Forty-eigstores report hundred and eighty-on- e $118,554,000 in total sales as compared with $S2, 601,000 total sales in 1933, accounting for eighty percent of the stores and ninety percent of the total sales in the State. Salt Lake, Ogden, Provo, Logan, Cedar City, Price, Brigham, Murray, Richfield, and Helper, were the ten principal cities accounte ing for percent of the stores and seventy-fou- r percent of the to tal sales. Young Kidman had been employed in that por tion of the state only a brief time, when this untimely and cruel accident occurred. It is reported that Roy was driving a truck when it crashed, tak? ing his life. Roy Kidman was born at Mountain View, Septemlber 14, 1915, the eldest son of Robert, Jr , and Ethel HamilHe is a grandson of ton Kidman. He Mrs. Robert Kidman, of Urie. spent the greater portion of his life at Mountain View where he attended the public and high schools of that town. Young Kidman possessed a genial personality and was loved and respected by old and young alike. He numbered hundreds among his friends. The heartfelt sjmpathy of the people of the entire county and especially Bridger Valley, goes out to those caused to mourn. The deceased is survived by his parents; two brothers, Maurice and Glen Kidman and by three sisters, Mrs. Edna Cox, Esther and Cail Kidman, all of Mountanl View. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kidman, Jr., left last night for Riverton to bring body of the deceased home. No arrangements have been made as yet for funeral services.
