Mr. Wilkins has spent the last week in the country contacting wool producers, and reports that he finds the sheepmen highly', in favor of the auc- tion sale plan. He stated that he 'believes at least a jnillion pounds of wool would be a safe estimate of the volume that will be consigned by the sale date. It is believed 'by many, Mr. Wilkins reported, that the manner in which wool has been sold in this country in the past lias become antiquated and does not provide a marketing program that is consistent with the importance of the product.
