These girls matched skill and efficiency with fourteen other well trained teams from other counties, so that by annexing next to the highest honors, they not only did themselves credit, but gained complementary recognition for Rich County, their community, a their club and their leader, Mrs. Rees. Each, girl was awarded a beautiful silver medal which they may well be proud of. The demonstration in the school lunch was chosen because of its practicability in Rich County. This, plus skillful workmanship, efficient organization and complete, accurate answers to questions were the points which pleased the judges. In fact as a result of this demonstration, the Extension Service plans to train a team at the college and demonstrate the s school lunch at the State convention this fall. club By realizing what our members can do through study and preparation, it should stimulate more to enter these contests and strive to reach the top. However, the real value is not just in the winning, but it comes from the fight and preparation to reach the goal. These girls will give their demonstration on the school lunch several times in the county in connection with the school lunch problem. Roberts, president of the first council of seventy of the L. D. S. Church, died Wednesday at 4:30 A prolific p. m. at the age of 76. writer and powerful speaker, was regarded by the L. D.
