OF SPECIAL BOND ELECTION TOWN RICH COUNTY STATE OF UTAH For New Library An "article appeared in the Reaper about a month ago explaining the need for a library both the school and the community and presenting & plan for .the establishment of such a library. ' Those interested will be happy to know that prospects for a good library are very bright. Our county board of commisioners are thoroughly fti favor of such a move and in their monthly meeting last Monday they assured our high school principal, R. D. Law, that adequate funds will be available next fall to equip and maintain a library that will ultimately develop into an institution that will be a great benefit to all of ua Too much cannot be said about the tremendous benefit it will be to our schooBS and communities. It is another step in the forward march of progress. a OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE TAKEN BY RICH COUNTY FOR TAXES FOR THE YEAR 1924 AND PRIOR TO THAT DATE RANDOLPH WHEREAS, there is immediate and pressing need of raising funds for the purpose of acquiring water rights and constructing and installing waterworks system and securing a sufficient water supply for the purpose of supplying said Town of Randolph with water and distributing such water to the inhabitants thereof, which said water system and works shall be owned and controlled by said municipality, NOW THEREFORE, NOTICE is hereby given that on Saturday the 25th day of May, A. D., 1929, a special election will be held within the limits of the Town of Randolph, Rich County, Utah, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors of said Town, as shall have paid a property tax therein the year next preceding such election the following : proposition, Shall the negotiable coupon bonds of the Town of Randolph, Rich County, Utah, in the sum of EIGHTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS, ($18,000.00) payable serially, within twenty years from date of issue, bearing interest at the rate of six per cent (6 per cent) be issued' and sold for the per annum, payable purpose of acquiring water rights and constructing' and installing a waterworks system and securing a sufficient water supply for the purpose of supplying said Town of Randolph with water and distributing such water to the inhabitants thereof, which said water system and works shall be, owned and controlled by said municipality -" At said election the form of ballot shall be substantially as follows: BOND ELECTION BALLOT to-w- it semi-annuall- y, As required by law in pursuance of Chapter 140, Session laws of Utah, 1921, notice is hereby given that the following described real estate will be sold at public auction, by the County Commissioners of Rich County, for Taxes, Penalties, Costs! and interest to June 3, 192p, at the front door of the county court house tn Monday, June 3, 1929, at the houj of 2:00 (two) oclock p. m.
