Randolph, Theres Music Spencer Accidently Killed accidently killed Thursday afternoon in an automobile accident about a mile and a half north of Woodruff;, Utah. Mr. Spencer was on his way to Randolph with a load of gasoline to supply the Randolph Garage. About a mile and a half out of Woodruff he run into some loose gravel which caused his large gasoline truck to skid and tip over, killing Mrl Spencer instantly. The cab of the car and the steering wheel were badly mashed. Louis Kabell, passing by on his return form Randolph some time later, discovered the car overturned. Mr. Spencer lay under the wrecked car. with gasoline pouring all over him. Although he was not pinned under the car, indications show that he was killed instantly, and as he was riding alone, no one knows just what caused the accident. A. D. Fackrell, truck driver for Rich County Furniture Co., of Randolph and Sheriff Osborn, were among the first on the scene and helped fiemove the body from the wreckage. His sons, Leonard and Clifford of Evanston were notified and they, with Dr. Eskelson came and removed the body to Evanston. J. F. Spencer was a highly respected business man. well known throughout the Bear river)' valley. He leaves a wife and several grown children, as well as a host of friends in Evanston and Randolph, the latter place his home for many years. The Reaper extends the deepest sympathy to the bereaved family. Mrs. Shirley Nebeker returned last week from S'alt Lake City, where she had been for the past month with hei son Shirley, who had recently undergone an operation She reports that Shirley is improving right along. Her daughter, Mary, accompanied her home. Nath. M. Hodges of Smithtield, in town last week with a load frluit and other garden truck. of Newton, visited over the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Heber C. Robinson, returning early Monday morning. Mr. and Mrs. N. Wood Christiansen of Logan, and Miss Liljenquist were Sundlay visitors at the hosne of Mns. Geo. N. Weston. The trio visited the Sunday school where Misi Liljenquist rendered a splendid vocal solo, accompanied by the Christian- sens, with violin and piano. They rendered a like number at the Union and Boards meeting at Paris, Idaho in the afternoon. They remained oveq in the evening and furnished numbers at the German conference, held at that place. and Mrs. Russell Corless and others of Randolph, were Sunday Mr. at the home Kearl. Weston all well and happy. IFay Lutz has returned home again after being operated upon for appendicitis at the Bridge hospital, Logan and is much improved. A number of the young people attended the Rodeo at Ookeville, Wyo. A good time was had by all. More than two hundred thousand triout have been planted in the waters of Bear Lake this season. We hope to have good fishing soon.
