SCENE OF FIRE BLAOKFOOT, Plans Formulated The Cokeville Register says: 'The local po'st of the American Legion held a meeting last Friday evening ana started the ball rolling in preparation for the big yearly Cokeville Roundup. The boys will make this big event better than ever if this is possible and are starting in early to , get things lined out to go by. They have already contracted for a string of, bad horses from Mr. Colburn of Illackfoot. who makes a business of supplying outlaws for rodeos. The gentleman has supplied horses for the local show for the past two vears and will bring in about 25 this year. The advertising committee, con sisting of Supt. L. L. Bender, Tony North and Martin Nelson, has been appointed and isi already busy lining uptlieir work. The rodeo is to be held July 12-1- 3 14. NOTED PLATERS FEATURED Four screen players of popularity and reputation are featured in the leading roles. They are John Mack Brown. Hugh Allan, Jeanette Loft and William Bakewell.. The supporting players include Maurice Ryan, Byron Munson, Charlotte Walker and llobart Bosworth, all players of achievement and n-wide popularity. The story deals with Bill and Herbert, two naval midshipmen who are rivals for the hand of a charming girl. The two have disputes which threaten to ruin th,e careers of both. Herbert, crazed by jealousy, assaults a guard and Bill bravely assumes responsibility. He is about to face a naval board of inquiry when Herbert exonerates ' him and disappears. Laketown was highly entertained Friday night by a plav, Hurricane Hal, given by the N. R. High School. There were seventeen in the' cast and each must be complimented on his or her performance. Woodruff Extension and Farm Bureau meetings have been planned as follows: Randolph, April 22 at 8 p. m., at Court' House and at Woodruff, April 23, at 8 p. m., in the School House. Much development is being planned for Rich County this year. The resources are available and opportunities plentiful. To accomplish , worthwhile improvements and keep the spirit of progress alive the people of communities must band themselves together as working units and spend a little time and effort fpr the common good of all. This just means cooperation kept active by vision, hope, a little sacrifice of time, and a spirit of loyalty and service. A program about as follows should serve to lpterest piost any one and be of benefit to the inhabitants of any rural community. 1. Plan for or effect a Farm Bureau organization. 2. Organize a Clean Up Campaign, set dates, appoint committees, plan the work to be done. 3. Seed grain treatment for Smut. New and convenient ways as with the old ways. 4. Where and how to get poison for squirrels. 5. Plan for more sweet clover pastures. 6. A brief review of animal diseases affecting cattle,, sheep and horses in Rich County. 7. The Reaper has moved to the Wilson building on the corner of Main and Canyon streets, this ' building has also been remodeled. Sol Conley, proprietor of Sols Place confectionery and lunch room, has opened a hall in the building formerly pool occupied by The Reaper and this also has l)een kalsomined and remodeled.
