Show funeral held for child drowned at monroe funeral services were held tuesday in the monroe south waid wad chapel for lewis magleby 18 ma months old son of mr and mrs john B magleby of monroe who was accidentally drowned saturday evening in a canal close to the magleby Alag leby ranch home south of monroe the child was missed while the family was busy with their evening chores saturday an alarm was given townsmen and a search was made men formed in groups and waded in the canal the body was waa found by lawrence wilcox and ed barney about a milo mile and a half from the home first aid was administered but the body had been in the water approximately two hours and nothing could be done lewis vern was born bom december 20 1936 to john and rose lowe Alag magleby leby at their ranch home near monroe surviving him are his parents four brothers and a sister bert gene merrill bobbie and rose marie his grandparents mr and mrs J E magleby and mrs rose lowe funeral services were directed by B bishop I 1 s hop heber winget wilford hansen and lawrence jones were speakers mrs wells nielson and fred dyches sang brahms lullaby miss barbara play ed cd a violin solo the lord is my shepherd with piano accompaniment by elenore jensen the choir under direction of thomas i ransom sang the upper garden with mrs M A magleby as soloist and sometime well un der derstad de ratan stan the invocation was by dan larson the benediction by rulon R as m Ss en J E A magleby dedicated the grave members of the relief society carried flowers interment was waa in the monroe cemetery |
