Show CIVIC CLUBS TO MAINTAIN OFFICE plans develop for meeting to be held at cedar city february 22 at a meeting of the directors of the associated civic clubs of southern utah held saturday and sunday in salt lake the directors voted to maintain their office in richfield as heretofore with ray pay E carr as secretary some change h had ad been considered because the newly elected president C W love jr is from st george further plans were developed for the meeting to be held monday february 22 at cedar city it is anticipated that at that time members of the state legislature will be making an inspection tour of the branch agricultural college and the dixie junior college at st george the date for this meeting was originally set for february 13 but when the legislature planned the junket to the southern part of the state the change was requested by the officers officer of the cedar city chamber of commerce they felt it would be better to hold both meetings at the same time thereby giving the lawmakers and the directors the opportunity of getting better acquainted with each others problems much of the cedar city meeting will undoubtedly be given over to discussion of legislative problems |
