home of mrs sylvester bean the ceremony was performed by rev q S H maxwell in the presence of members of the immediate families and few intimate friends the bride who was unattended was charming in a gown of green organdy she wore a corsage of pink sweet peas mrs and her daughter who spent the past year in dallas texas returned to richfield a few weeks ago nielson the marriage of miss margaret elizabeth mcwilliams of coraly kansas and ross lavoy nielson son of mr and mrs theo J nielson of richfield took place saturday afternoon at three at the home of the brides brother in berkeley california mr nielson who is now with the deisel motor co in berkeley has been employed in california the past five years the couple will make their home there A pretty bridge luncheon of the week was that given by mrs H dean hayes at her home thursday afternoon snapdragons in pink and white were artistically arranged as a centerpiece for the dining table while spring flowers were also used on the were gilded goodluck good luck horseshoes each of which held a small bunch of violets the sego lilly of utah the blue bonnett of texas and the magnolia of louisiana were artistically combined as a centerpiece for the table mrs carrie marquardson taylor acted as toastmistress and toasts were given by several guests mrs josephine G brower mrs allie webb dark clark mrs effie erickson hulbert and mrs peterson entertained with vocal selections accompanied compa nied by miss anna lou peterson A gift was presented the honor guest the guests were former richfield residents and t mrs jo tTo nathan delicious dinner served by the hostess was one continuous surprise from the cocktail to the dessert which appeared 1 to be a gay flower pot but which proved to be buclous ice cream and dainty appropriate games were played during the afternoon prizes were fountain pens flash lights and bottles of jam which when ollien opened released long green reptiles and worms winners of these coveted prizes were mrs IV L warner mrs R T thurber and mrs J L sevy jr inmates mates lat the inmates in mates that is to say the lady employees of the county court house and some former members of the gang staged what was for themselves vesa a lucky break this week it appears that they took advantage of april 1 the new deal and the absence of the sheriff and other male employees during the noon hour
