as townspeople was waa successfully conducted at monroe the band which serenaded here at sunrise extended tho the serenade ing to elsinore EIsin central and richfield and were back in time to lead the parade which true to colonial style successfully portrayed the characters of famo fame of the early colonies prizes awarded by the committee were first prize to a group of flag girls and the second to barbara jen and max larsen lancil representing george and martha washington the program in the south ward chapel was an outstanding fe feature of the day the afternoon sports ports were put over on time and in a manner which kept the people amused the celebration wound up with a band concert for the adults and a junior dance in the e evening the committees are arc to be heartily commended for the systematic manner in which they so successfully put over the days program under the direction of H roland Ti chairman baker pearce mr and mrs airs louis baker announce the marriage of their daughter louise to wesley pearce the ceremony was performed by justice baker at their home june 30 the couple left immediately for a two weeks trip through southern california 1 they hey will make
