Show efly S OGDEN DIES FOLLOWING TH K U funeral service to be held in the sevier stake tabernacle the family of mrs mary marsh sellers ogden were shocked at her sudden death tuesday at 5 p in following a stroke at 8 tuesday morning mrs ogden who was at the time visiting at the home of her son A M sellers wa was s apparently feeling all right D during uri ng the past few weeks she had bad visited her son in idaho and a daughter in salt lake monday evening she had attended a musical recital and after arising ansing as usual tuesday morning she had seated herself outside the house to peal apples suddenly she called to her son come quick im taking a stroke but before he c could 0 uld reach her she had fallen from the chair she was able to talk to the family until about eleven when her speech became affected attending physicians were unable to do anything for her mrs agdens calm and pleasing i personality her kindly consideration of everyone with whom she came in contact her faithfulness as a church worker and her devotion to her family won von for her numerous friends wherever she made her home she held prominent church offices in the relief society and the Y L M 1 I A mary marsh sellers ogden was born bom june 21 1856 at rum worth near lancashire england she came to utah in 1872 with her and 1880 she was married to james fisher sellers and ten years later moved with her family to mexico in 1893 her husband was killed instantly when struck by lightning and mrs sellers was left to care for her family of young children they returned to utah in 1912 in 1918 mrs sellers was married to thomas ogden and with him accomplished a great deal of work in the salt lake and attended the dedication of the mesa and canadian temples of the L D S church they spent s several everal winters in ocean park california returning to richfield for the summer months shortly after they came to richfield this spring mr air ogden whose health had bad failed steadily for two years passed away july 6 surviving are the following children A at sellers of richfield james E sellers of ocean park california mrs anne done of salt lake city and jos F sellers of rexburg Rex burg idaho funeral services will be held at 2 p m sunday in the sevier stake tabernacle |
