Show CHOOL A A MOST MUSICAL TREAT unfortunately only small audiences witnessed robin hood inc it was a lamentable fact that only a few front seats were occupied when the first performance of the operetta robin hood inc was presented by the music department part ment of the richfield high s school chool at the stake tabernacle thursday evening although a larger it audi audience C greeted tile the young performers fri friday d ay night it was not as lar large lare e as the creditable production deserved the performance gave evidence of intelligent directing the splendid which the director H D christensen music teacher at the school had assembled was an attraction in itself tile the music excelling the accompaniments ordinarily heard here in such productions mr christensen was ably i assi assisted ted in the stage settings cos costumes turnes and dancing by miss thelma dastrup and wm win B mccoard of the high school faculty the jumbled appearance which often characterizes similar performances was practically eliminated tile the choruses were snappy and the operetta moved with a smoothness that was pleasing although all of the rast cast did good work a few members w were ere outstanding among them ed as king iving richard I 1 stanford taylor ns as friar tuck and chad heppler as ben booster |
