scandinavians for miles around participated mathias athias Al erickson president of the local society stated that the conference was a huge success and that a 1 large irge number of people was pre sent bioni towns adan adam S peterson was the principal speaker mr air and oscar F bere strom of salt lake city also made remarks mrs peterson mrs berg and mrs bergstrom Berc Ber strom estrom came with them for the conference the music was furnished bythe by by the scandinavian choir and was led by K X C who said the singing was fine although lie couldn coulden t understand the voids wednesday the store mrs carl forshee laid away impressive funeral services were held sunday afternoon for mrs carl Fors forshee bee who died tuesday june 11 at ely nevada from asthma mrs forshee forshea For sheo has been a victim of asthma for a number of years and accompanied compa nied by her son left salina early in june to join her husband at ely she had a serious relapse soon after arriving there and her weakened constitution could not overcome the attack when mrs forshee left salina she was in better health than she lad been for some time and her death came as a great shock to her relatives and friends the second ward chapel where the funeral was held was packed with sorrowing friends and relatives the services commenced with a mixed quartet consisting of mr and mrs S J ottley mrs airs clayton ras and hal felt bishop G al burr offered the invocation G M wright 7 right sang a solo and was followed with a few remarks by dr C leo merrill men ill A C played a violin solo with mrs S J ottley at the piano dr C E west was the next speaker and he was vas followed by mrs airs james monroe who made a few remarks in honor of mrs airs forshee as a club member bishop C E peterson was the last speaker the services closed with a duet by mrs airs C P peterson and mrs i clayton layton the casket was lC coveler with bea beautiful dutiful floral offerings and flowers and wi oaths wele
