Show RIDDLE cl funeral services were held in third ward wednesday afternoon Imp impressive lessive funeral services were held wednesday afternoon in the third ward chapel for mrs airs lavina jacobs riddle who passed quietly away at her home here at eight monday morning death resulting from froin u high blood pressure A 3 nillmore fillmore of the third ward yard bishopric conducted the services services selections by the ward choir a bari tone solo by kenneth hood and a 1 solo that wonderful mother of mine by mrs airs jas M peterson comprised the musical numbers the speakers were chas E rowan jr of antimony president of the garfield stake marion king of manti and bishop H J hansen han s e n all of whom expressed highest esteem for the deceased and offered consolation to the bereaved family the invocation was offered by president R D young and the benediction by chas L bean james ramsay john dunn C L bean joseph jorgensen chris peterson and arthur henrie acted as pall bearers girl friends of creo youngest daughter of the deceased carried tile the flowers the rhe building was ivas crowded with friends from richfield and from mrs riddles former home antimony who came to pay tribute and to lay beautiful floral offerings on the bier as an le expression repression of love and respect interment was in the city cemetery where christian peterson dedicated the grave mrs riddle was born bom at ville june 1 1861 a daughter of christopher and mary jacobs when she was a girl the family resided at panguitch on janu january ry 8 1879 she was married to joselina riddle at the st george temple As a young couple they lived for a while at panguitch later moving to antimony four years ago the family moved to richfield surviving are the husband and t the e following children mrs amy it smoot mrs airs laura R king and C M riddle of delta mrs vella mcmillan mrs capitola barlow duclus riddle and creo riddle of richfield and al C riddle of antimony she has also had the care of two grandsons kenneth and wendell larsen whose mother passed away 24 grandchildren two great grandchildren two sisters mrs airs frances crosby of cowley wyoming and mrs airs almeda jacobsen of delta and two brothers john jacobs of roosevelt and seth jacobs of delta survive the family greatly appreciates the kindness of the countless friends who came with sympathy love and respect unstinted and feel heartfelt thanks for all of them |
