badly injured wednesday eve evening rung when he be fell from a wagon loaded with grain dark clark who had been working for grant gates on his hi land between salina and aurora had completed the work of loading the wagon v igon with sacks of grain and had started across the field to the road roada the wagon was one of the narrow type and was boarded and the wheat was as piled up rather high the furrows in the f field jarred the sacks and when going over an unusually deep furrow the sack on which the lad w was as seated slipped blaik jumped but he fell striking his right hip on one of the a flat car according to reports mr anderson had gone up salina canyon and was helping to unload railroad ties he lifted a tie preparatory to throwing it off the flat car when his foot slipped and he be fell off the car striking the heavy steel rail the binin train which was moving slowly stopped in in time to save him from being run over by the next car his companions companion hurried him to the
