| OCR Text | tHEN TION M Y BE HEHE commercial club will cooperate with director abe hansen of organization the first firby commercial Gom mercial club luncheon of the year was held monday with the second ward relief society st c bety furnishing the menu president sterling K heppler directed the business part of the meeting in which director chas called attention to the fact that abe hansen local director of the national Wool growers association will endeavor to bring the next summer convention of this association to richfield provided the commercial club stands solidly behind this proposition A discus discussion gion ensued lend lead by members jonathan lloyd arid and ferdinand erickson anti and a motion then carried that the commercial club take the necessary steps to bring the convention to our city chas and ferdinand erickson were nere appointed a committee to confer with mr hansen and assist him in his efforts to land the convention for richfield in behalf of the entertainment committee jonathan lloyd reported the result of the follies stating that the financial end of tile the performance was very satisfactory and paying high tribute to all those who ho entered into the affair with the proper spirit and did their best to make it the success uc it was the secretary was in instructed ted to write a letter arletter of thanks thank to those participants in the performance who are not members of the club and to I 1 miss nial nelson I 1 mrs s olena and mrs kate worry werry who so efficiently assisted the director in the makeup make up of the per formers f o aers president heppler called attention to the fact that the annual election will ba held tonight and invited the members to show their interest in the club by being at this s sion 0 n |
