| Show DEATH CLAIM WOR I 1 HY AT VENICE death invaded the home of C IV cowley of venice very suddenly last saturday morning and snatched from her family mrs cowley mr cowley awoke that morning to find his wife in the throes of death before help could be secured or anything done for the stricken woman the dark angel had taken lier her to the great be beyond end the sympathy of the entire community goes out to the family in its affliction as mrs cowley was a most devoted wife and mother a good neighbor and a woman whose life was filled with good works she was beloved and respected by all who were fortunate in it knowing her she was 57 years old she leaves her husband five sons son and three daughters these are C W cowley the husband and roy C barsal C W jr allan and morris the daughters are mrs J L davis mrs A L buchanan and grace cowley all of venice she also leaves four brothers and two sisters john charles heber and truman wilson all of richfield lUch field mrs james brindley of and susan wilson of III richfield C it f beld funeral services were held at venice on tuesday and practically the entire populace attended the obsequies as well is as many from the surrounding towns the services were eim beautiful and consoling as such services s should hould be for one so worthy as mrs cowley the speakers were H H bell of glenwood pres R D young J M peterson and A IV W buchanan of richfield the many virtues of deceased wele shown and eulogies pronounced on her life of love service and sacrifice by the speakers music numbers appropriate and consoling were given by miss bliss heppler louis gardner claience buchanan cli anan denton jackson and his wife ife and by the choir the services were a tribute to a noble and well beloved woman |
