are enjoying the operetta practices the high school invited the junior high to attend their big matinee dance thursday march second the junior students were pleased to accept the invitation ind and considered it very thoughtful of the high school how we serve our junior high in serving our junior high we do not get the idea into our heads that we must at some time or other hold the office of president secretary or treasurer etc we think of the number of students there are over two hundred and fifty then we realize that it is simply impossible for each one to do so when we e are only to be summoned within this division of the school two years what difference does it make anyhow if we carry ourselves straight get our lessons day by day and train our ways so that every one loves us because we are just as good as the others to give a still more mor complete idea of the case we might use the same words as were once said at a celebration for our flag they serve me most by doing their best in whatsoever field they might be called and not to everyone is it given to join the ranks but to each and all is given to aid him who leads me into the lines of the enemy to victory now N not to just the junior high as a whole do we apply rules but to each and every class we let our studies be the lines of the enemy through which we carry the banner and name of our school to success
